Frodo and Sam fic

I didn't realize until I was reading your website just now that your two brothers are overseas. Hope they are back home before long.

I was laid off in May, and have yet to find a "real" job. Am working as vinyl monkey holiday record store clerk while I wait to hear if I got that librarian job I interviewed for. I interviewed weeks ago, but the office manager says they're still making up their minds.

Other than the up-in-the-airness of the job thing, life is good. And so is your pretteh, pretteh Dom icon. Yum.

Not a lot, just the usual holiday fuss.

Yes, both brothers are currently overseas, although we hope to have Philip home from Iraq in March, and Andrew back from the school in Korea in about August or so.

I'm sorry about the layoff. It's not a fun time to be out of work (if there is such a thing). I will keep my fingers crossed for you on the librarian position. *hugs*

Hope to see you around a bit, but I know things are busy at this time of year. Still, I always love finding your name on my fpage. It's lovely to see you around. :)

Glad brothers are coming home in 2006. You'll be psyched to see them, I'm sure. They must both be having quite a time of it, overseas -- Philip more than Andrew. I send good wishes to you and them.

This will be my first Christmas where I don't see my sister Caitlin. She's moved five hours north of here, and she's opened a thriving pet care business, so she can't get down to visit my Mom. I'll miss her.

The power of crossed fingers is indeed great: thank you. I got the librarian job! It starts in January. *does a little celebratory dance, made up of equal parts Nutcracker Suite and the Pony*
